There are two connectors. One is USB and the other is a female Centronics. It looks too small to be SCSI. I have a cable with a small Centronics male on one end and a DB-25 male on the other end. I can't remember what it was for. But, I think it was for a printer connection way back when. I will take a picture and add it to this via edit. OK - here is the picture:

I think the one in the middle would mate with your Zip female connector.

OK - further investigation says it is a SCSI - Centroniucs to DB 25. That is the cable I have.

SCSI

Can you give us a width measurement of that connector?

Hi, The guys are correct. Looks like a Centronics connector. Same as on printers. Probably uses a printer cable to connect to the parallel (printer) port. Older Zips used the same configuration but used a standard parallel cable, same on both ends. Download free driver and information from Iomega. Good Luck, Jim

That's it - I have the cable with the small Centronics on one and and a standard DB-25 on the other. I think it is an old printer cable. One of these days, I am going to have to sort out my closet full of cables! :)

Cables

Been collecting those for about 14 years - the wife says they are reproducing at night. :)
