The Russian cat looks like a manul cat cross breed.

I’ve wanted one of these hybrid cats. Cool how they still look wild, I saw some animal planet thing on them and they are more like dogs, you need to walk them and they like to chase things like balls or dogs.
Be fun to take this guy by the dog park and have him run around with the pooches.
I don’t think it is legal to own one in my state.

We adopted a pair of brothers from a shelter that we eventually figured out were ~F5 Savannah cats. They were odd ducks. They absolutely loved each other but had difficulty socializing with any of the other cats.

Not the greatest pics:

No, you don't want that. Don't do it.

These people are complete assholes.

People that own cats like these own fighting dogs, and endorse that shit. There are savage people, that like shit like this.

seriously. don't be a fucking asshole.

My sister has a couple pics of our cat from way back in the day. They are from the early 80's. If I can get them I will scan and post them.

I miss my cat so much.

Dogs are definitely better than cats. Start new thread...

Pooches are great in their own way. Not better, just different.
Dogs are more dependent upon you. I saw some cat show where they said cats have been living with people for about 1/2 the time as dogs, meaning cats are 1/2 domesticated. Simple but fairly true. Most cats could survive outside if needed, they’d become feral and wild but once picked up and put in a home they’d become domestic again.
Dogs aren’t like that. Lost dogs generally don’t hunt they forage trash to eat.

My old pitbull was a hunter. Anything living that ventured into our backyard was prey. Even into her old age she destroyed possums, raccoons, and cats. Yet she was a cuddly bunny to immediate family that lived in the house. I doubt she would have had any problem on her own in the wild.

RIP Gracie

Good pooch!
I mean some dogs will but most wouldn’t be able to survive in the woods long term.
Most cats would.
