This game really is game of the year for me. (Which is really depressing for me since Spore was an epic fail...)

god i can't wait until diablo 3...

Oh, that's what kept giving me good karma? I was just doing it for the money - turning a 1:1 caps/weight ratio into 10:1 is pretty good for early game. I was trying to recruit Jericho but I was too good and was wondering why. I also thought Super Mutants were a bit too weak compared to the older games. In previous games you would be crazy to take on more than 1 at a time with anything less than power armor and some high-end weapons (plasma rifle, gauss rifle, a good minigun). In Fallout 3 I was taking them out with relatively little trouble using only a hunting rifle and grenades - neither of which were part of my tagged skills.

Also, tagged skills aren't as useful anymore. It used to be that tagging a skill made it progress twice as fast. And skills stop at 100 now, which is annoying. And if you run into a locked door/container, explosives aren't an option.
