This is the big problem for Intel IMO.

They are losing their high margin business because of lack of focus on DC. This leaves them cash poor and unable to invest in making things better.

I think AMDs "server first" philosophy will continue to pay rewards.

This does help to beg the question about desktop and laptop though. Will AMD use a majority of N2 for dominance in the higher margin markets?

Or will they feel they have no need to spend the money as their N3P products can easily compete with the best Intel has to offer in NVL and PTL?

How many times do I and others have to point this out ton you. N2 is for server and high margin desktop/laptop and the rest is on N3. High volume is all on N3.

All is good, trust the plan. NVL will represent spring compression, and then Razer Lake recoil, when the CPU is released with a force so great it will leapfrog all the competition.
That is supposed to be Titan Lake 2028

Those are benchmark submissions.

This is my final warning.
Next time we have to warn, points will be issued.
AMD Speculation threads are meant for AMD Speculations.
They are NOT meant to torch intel, bring intel in satire situations, or even talk about intel, unless its on the basis of comparison.

If your going to pull intel to the thread, you better have a valid reason followed up with by contrast, or in comparison to the speculation on AMD in the same post.

Consider this the last and final warning for those of you that are too lazy and TLDR; the entire thread for the other warnings we have given.

So they stayed at approximately 90/10 split for ~3 years, and then all of a sudden in went to a 50/50 split in only 3 quarters. What the hell happened in such short time? And how come all/most customers made the same move in the same short timespan?

These are Passmark test submissions that people are misinterpreting as market share.

I wonder what’s so bad about nova lake that people would wait for Razer Lake?

Unless I’m understanding this wrong.
It's just a meme, right?

A la "wait for RDNA5" when RDNA4 came out, "wait for Zen 6" when Zen 5 came out, because overhyped people feeling underwhelmed etc, so gotta move on and put unrealistic expectations into n+1 thing.

Waiting usually seems to pay off so it's not much of a meme more "genuine buyer's advice". Well, except maybe wait for Blackwell... that didn't go well.
