First, Do you want to proof that Genoa is the world record breaker ? Forget mine, as you won't believe it. Intel employees/contractors like you don't cut it as far as their opinion, so stop trolling in an AMD thread. This is a statement of fact. Rumors claimed huge IPC increases that were nowhere close to reality. That says nothing about how good or bad the core is, but it's been a consistent trend with early Zen rumors. There's been some of that on the Intel side too, but people don't seem to run away with it like they do with AMD.
You mean I'd call you out if you fabricate results, as is your habit? I distinctly recall you accusing people of trolling for reading your own "source" once. So yeah, spare us the farce.
That's what we're doing about Zen 4 now, a reality check on what happened to the early hype. When Zen 5 is out and the same thing happens, I'm sure there will be people trying to brush it all under the rug in preparation for the Zen 6 hype train. To what end goal, I can't even fathom.
But hey, if you believe this, put a stake in the ground. What's your expectation for Zen 5 specint/specfp IPC gain over Zen 4?
You haven't been on these forums for very long (well, you just joined). While we do jawbone over rumors, what you propose isn't all that we really need to know. We want more technical details. These days, semicon companies are very tight lipped, so we will have to wait some time to see what actually comes to light. We have some people like @DisEnchantment who actually read Patents to get an indication of what is coming, or look at the details of commits to the Linux kernel, etc. These are more concrete than 'trust me mate, I know much more than I can tell you'. If you in fact do know so much more - why aren't you working for an Hedge fund helping to make big bucks by getting ahead of the market?Again, it's an Apple-class core.
That's really what you need to know.
Very simple.
Oh god, literally says "Apple-class core" on the box.We want more technical details
Yea I prefer sitting on a sizeable pile of $AMD instead.why aren't you working for an Hedge fund helping to make big bucks by getting ahead of the market
People don't listen to you when you get caught lying. That's how things work.Forget mine, as you won't believe it. Intel employees/contractors like you don't cut it as far as their opinion, so stop trolling in an AMD thread.
So are you claiming, for example, that Zen 5 is 8-wide decode? You only have to look at any Firestorm block diagram to get the basic grasp of what they're building.
Decode is the most irrelevant part ever for fat opcache cores and you know it.So are you claiming, for example, that Zen 5 is 8-wide decode?
Well if you're going to just gesture at a Firestorm block diagram, what exactly do you expect the takeaway to be? By all means, specify.Decode is the most irrelevant part ever for fat opcache cores and you know it.
Stop being so obnoxiously silly.
In the first place, I have not been caught lying, except in your opinion. I provided proof, that you denied. And I don't hate Intel, its just that right now they are in a very bad position, and like 90% of this forum agrees.People don't listen to you when you get caught lying. That's how things work.
So, are you seriously insisting that Zen 4 is 25%+ IPC over Zen 3? Then go on, prove it. This should be funny.
And are you going to tell me that discussing Zen 5 rumors in the Zen 5 discussion thread is off topic? Ironic given that the only thing you seem capable of is spamming about how much you hate Intel in every thread.
Once again, you don't have to be so obtuse.Well if you're going to just gesture at a Firestorm block diagram, what exactly do you expect the takeaway to be?
First, Do you want to proof that Genoa is the world record breaker ?
Here for one. Do I need to google for more ????id like to see some world records which Genoa has broken.
Because all i can find are these:
None of which are PCMark / Cinabench / PassMark / Timespy / GHZ world record.
They lost Cinabench recently and yes these are broken on super exotic cooling, but its not like you can't put a Genoa on LN2 either. ThreadRipper on Exotic cooling had the WR, but lost it reciently.
Id like to honestly see what world records Genoa has and actually been credited for.
Then might I refresh your memory:In the first place, I have not been caught lying, except in your opinion.
The 12700F sucks the power of 2 5950x's and get creamed in total performance 4x by 2 5950x's, or 2x one on one.
Oh, or the time you were ranting because someone pointed out your source said the opposite of your claim. You've been consistently claiming your 12700f consumes 300W, and even directly comparing it to AMD's PPT or even TDP values. Now "whoops" maybe it was actually 180W...
You honestly think anyone believes that? Lol.And I don't hate Intel
Hah, my employment is neither with Intel, or contingent on whatever they're doing. And I've been one of the loudest in calling out their boneheadedness. But to you, anyone not foaming at the mouth must be an Intel shill.Oh, not to mention Intel laying people off due to losing income, especially in servers. I know you are trying to justify your employment, but please get real, and admit what is going on.
So what would you call insisting that Zen 4 is >25% IPC over Zen 3? Or are you going to finally post these elusive benchmarks you always claim to have, but can never produce...denial is a symptom of mental illness.
My last reply. I have kill-a-watt views of the useage. And I had log files proving why (using avx-512 which we know sucks power) but you denied all my proof. Then might I refresh your memory:
And I called you out on that for trying to manipulate your own claims even a few comments later:Page 19 - Question - Raptor Lake - Official Thread

So, you were saying something about denial?
You honestly think anyone believes that? Lol.

Anyway, that's enough feeding the trolls from me. This was a waste of time.
Yeah, ok, this is clearly just trolling now. No more doubt in my mind.Once again, you don't have to be so obtuse.
Well, people working at DCAI are all like you but I digress.
An Intel employee calling everybody in this thread a troll. Like we will listen to that.Yeah, ok, this is clearly just trolling now. No more doubt in my mind.
Yet you posted no such proof, nor was anyone ever able to reproduce it. This all being clearly documented in the thread I linked. The very chip you claimed to have used is power limited to half the number you gave. And I had log files proving why (using avx-512 which we know sucks power) but you denied all my proof.
So you're seriously insisting that Zen 4 is 25%, 30%, etc. IPC over Zen 3? You're so far beyond reason that you reject established facts. Hahahaha. You know what, I change my mind. It was worth the effort to see this spectacle. The stage is all yours. And an Intel employee debating AMD stats ? We are supposed to believe you ?
id like to see some world records which Genoa has broken.

The only reason that you believe that the chip in question is power limited is that Intel says so. No actual proof. That would be typical of an Intel employee. And I had proof, but it is only maintained on the web for a short time, and you refused to look at it.Yet you posted no such proof, nor was anyone ever able to reproduce it. This all being clearly documented in the thread I linked. The very chip you claimed to have used is power limited to half the number you gave.

Yes, me and all the reviewers living in denial about what you could take 10 seconds to google and confirm. But I think that's enough feeding the trolls for one day. Just becomes sad at some point. You re just living in denial, at the end i ll believe Mark when he said that you re not a regular forumer but rather some stealthy viral marketer...

They've been at it since Zen3 FYI.Look to me that Zen 4 perform much better than what you hoped for, that s the only way to explain your endless babbling.
Genoa is the best performer in CB and all these benchmarks, only a fool can say otherwise, now found me a single user, pro or amateurish, that use LN2 with his set up, you wont find a single one in the whole earth, guess that you re just showing how rabidly you re some kind of Intel unconditional supporter.
Genoa is the best performer in CB and all these benchmarks
In what universe does using LN2 constitute a REAL world record ? Especially when nobody has used LN2 on Genoa ? The only reason the Intel crowd is using LN2, was because that CPU is such a piece of crap.Sigh... can you please tell me what a World Record is and means?
To my understanding, it meant top record in the world regardless of what means you went to achieve it does it not?
And i am a intel supporter, im also a AMD supporter, and a Nvidia supporter, and heck i even support Apple at times too.
I don't take sides, and always keep that line of neutrality at all times.
So again id like to see some World Records being achieved under any methods used.
Because its not fair when ThreadRipper had it, and flaunted it, and now they lost it, people calling it foul.
Really? until thee who shall not be named broke it on a LN2 bench to get World Record.
Again WORLD RECORD
Or are you denying it?
Please show me where it says on HWBOT : Cinabench R23 Genoa as first place...
Please...
Just wait a bit until Storm Peak (or w/ever SP5/6 Threadrippers are called) and then you'll be able to LN2 pot the thing as well (or someone else will; well most definitely).Especially when nobody has used LN2 on Genoa ?
Or bad information due to echo chamber effect caused by continuous exposure to a highly biased social structure.denial is a symptom of mental illness
