Zen 2 based CPUs look like futuristic 2P/4P or Computer Cluster?

Is it just me or the new Zen 2 design looks like a cluster of computers? each CCD has two CCX, each CCX has a quad core unit and with a central router IO handling communications between each node, in the case of Epyc 64C, there is literally 16 quad core nodes interconnected with IF and a central node IO chiplet handling communications.

Or more like a scale down 2P/2P motherboard?

What's old is new again: North bridge, South bridge, CPUs looking like tiny computer clusters.

That was the case with Zen 1, more specifically Threadripper and Epyc. Their MCM litterally behaved like multiprocessor computers, including NUMAs.

With Zen 2 they are a step further, reducing duplicity and interconnect complexity for further scalability.
