You might get a GPU burnout if you mine at temps higher than that, though. So be careful.

I wish I had software and mcs files that could run a XC7K410T or XC7K325T. I could put up to 14 of these FPGA boards into a 6U system and run it for up to 12 hours a day. This is 500 watts of FPGA power, which could be equivalent to up to 5000 watts of GPU power. And it is just sitting around collecting dust.... such a shame.

You could probably find a programmer willing to do this for a % fee from the mining proceeds. There is precedent.

I was under the impression that both ETH and ZEC mining was fairly resistant to ASIC/FPGA implementation due to memory bandwidth requirements.

I can buy either 4x ASUS RX 470 4GB or 4x MSI RX 470 GAMING X Twin Frozr 8GB or 4x MSI RX 470 ARMOR OC 8GB.

Which one is better? Really Paranoid about Temp!

ETH underwent a short selloff earlier, but ZEC did not, sending it catapulting to new heights. There isn't enough mining capacity out there (yet) to keep the profits down to previous levels. Profits for mining ZEC are up nearly 80% over the last 24 hours. Get your ZEC while you can folks! I'm not sure how long it will be before people can switch enough capacity over to ZEC to get it down to its previous equilibrium of hashrate vs. difficulty vs. profit.

Damn, alright. Putting my mining rigs back online. Wished I would have done it back in Feb when I originally felt the itch.

I'm looking to mine ZEC, but I'm confused about the wallet address. Do I have to add a "t" in front of my wallet address?

There are two different kind of wallet addresses: t addresses and z addresses. Read this:

https://z.cash/blog/anatomy-of-zcash.html

Also the ZEC mining profit spree seems to be over. Despite the price of ZEC staying over $180, enough mining capacity has come online to knock profits down to where they were about 2 weeks ago. Alas.

Thanks after going thru that I feel kinda silly now. I opened up a Jaxx wallet and using that now.
