Zapping in Paris???

So I was in Paris last week and was trying to find the Catacombs...I ended up walking around the cemetary near the catacombs and found the XXX theater district. I noticed that one of the "Projection Video" stores had the word "ZAPPING" on the sign. What is Zapping? I guessed that it was some kind of erotic shock therapy, but have never heard of it before. I'm more curious about what the French know that I don't, but didn't want to venture inside that grungy place. 😛 Anyone, anyone?

Yeah....but I wouldn't pay someone to shock me... I could do that myself for free if I didn't have any brain cells.

Not shocking as in electricty, but shocking as in wow amazing incredible thats sick etc etc.

Hello Scarpo! (can I call you scarpo?) Anyways, I think Zapping is sort of dance party.

Too bad you couldn't find the entrance to the catacombs! All you had to do was go to the "island" across the street from the denfert-rochereau metro exit 🙂

I find it a little amazing that you got lost looking for the catacombs and wound up in PIGALLE! that is some walk! 🙂
