Zalman ZM400BAPS

Just wondering if anyone is using the Zalman ZM400BAPS PSU or the 300W version. IF you are, post up your findings on it...

Anyone? Buller, Buller, anyone, Buller?? Come on, someone has to know if this PSU is worth a damned, lives up to it's claims or not... I'd rather get first hand info from a user (and/or abuser) than dig through a review.

Zalman power supplies are rebadged Fortron power supplies which are high quality so dont sweat it you have a good psu.

I have a 400a. It was pretty quiet, WAY quieter than a 350w Antec. I've since modded it with a panaflo L1a that's temporarily run out of the PSU casing to a fan controller.

If I had to buy a quiet power supply now, I'd look hard at the Coolmax offerings, including their fanless 480w PSU. That will likely be my new PSU.

There have been a few reviews, mostly done by sites that are just happy that a company sent them something. Judging by the popularity of their Targus (sp) line I'd say it's probably fairly good.

I don't have either of the Zalman PSU's I was just looking for feedback from people WITH them so that I'd get a better idea if they are worth the money or not. I hope to be going with liquid cooling soon (whenever the damned check arrives) so I might want to get a more stealthy PSU.

Keep the feedback coming...

I've never heard of that. Got any links?

They aren't just rebadged, they have beefier heatsinks and quieter fans. Just saying they rebadged is a bit short. The core components are indeed made by Fortron though.
