Zalman VGA RAM Heatsink

Removed them and now i´m back at 51C GPU. Shitsinks from Zalman!

Hmm. How does it RAISE temps, thats really odd. Those same sinks came with my VF700 and it works GREAT. It replaces the hsf block used to cover the ram, and the air from the vf700 fan cools down not just the gpu, but hits over the sinks as well, giving me a much lower over all temp.

I've changed the position of the casefan, now everythings fine. GPU back to 51C.

Cpu is down from regular 37 to 32, the case is much cooler. Sorry zalman it was not your fault!

just a question, are you using a zalman heatsink as well? like the one with a heatpipe to cool the gpu? if so, then the ram sinks wont work.

why? they completely block out the airflow on the heatsink that is directly connected to the gpu. how do i know? because i made the mistake of buying both and putting them together. Result? higher temp than the stock cooling solution of MSI. removed heatsink and let the ram go without any cooling but with a big fan blowing over it. Its lower than stock
