He says that the VF700 is a really tight fit on the videocard when installed in the ANTEC P180...any advice on the setup, or what other comparable option would be available...???

THANKS!

Richard

Is it because of the air duct? It can be removed or you can order the p180b which doesn't have it

It should fit without any issues. You shouldn't have to even remove the air duct, if there is one, because the air duct is limited by the width of the video card, not the heatsink.
And I would take a look at the VF900-Cu. It like the VF700-Cu, but with heatpipes, so it's even better.

My video card is a Radeon X800XL, however, so yours might be different.

I installed a VF700-Cu onto a friend's X800XL into an A8N-E motherboard with a CNPS7700-Cu CPU heatsink. If all that can fit into an Antec Sonata II, you should have no problems whatsoever.
