You could only buy 1 of each item.

Which to be honest, is a GREAT THING. Otheriwse some monger from this forum probably would have bought their entire stock and fleabayed it..

I got a question. I was wondering how the Thermaltake P4 Spark 7 compares to the Zalman CNPS7000-cu cooler? Is the Zalman supposed to cool better? Also, about thermal compounds, is the Nanotherm PCM+ really better than Arctic Silver 3?

Anyone buy a heatpipe they are now wishing they had not gotten? I know it is a long shot, but I need one of these and did not see this in time!

If anyone is interested I wrote a mini review about my recent experience with installing a Zalman 7000 on a P4 2.8C on a Gigabyte 8KNXP. This cooler is great but not without it's share of concerns and problems.
original thread (go down to the bottom large post)

BTW the Zalman heat pipe (HP-80/50) is great but without active cooling, it runs typically 5-8ºC hotter then a stock cooler with active (Fan) cooling. You should be aware of that for those people who think this will let them OC more, it will not. It just gives you a very good passive (fanless) cooling option.

Forgot to post an update. Got the 7000Cu and heatpipe via Priority Mail yesterday (not too bad, I live in MA), and put them both in my system today. The HSF was a breeze to install on my IS7-E. I'm seeing temps that are seriously 10 degrees C cooler than the stock HSF. As for the heatpipe, it was a pain in the butt to install, pretty complicated procedure. Seems to work fine with my 9700. I haven't tried overclocking the video yet, and I don't have any way to check the GPU temp, but it feels fairly cool to the touch.
