Zalman CNPS7000A-ALCU and the Shuttle "AN35N-Ultra"

Hello,

Does anyone have this CPU cooler and their Shuttle "AN35N-Ultra"? If so,

1. Was it difficult to install?

2. Is it sufficient for overclocking?

3. Being that this cooler is so huge, is their enough clearance for the PSU, capacitors, etc?

Thank you!

I looked at getting one for my Shuttle board and it is on their list for being compatible.

1. Was it difficult to install? You do have to remove the mobo

2. Is it sufficient for overclocking? Yes

3. Being that this cooler is so huge, is their enough clearance for the PSU, capacitors, etc? The psu clearance will depend on your case(55mm from the center of your socket for clearance)

I would recomend the ThermalRight SI-97 over the Zalman. Better performance, Choose any 92 or 80mm fan, fits most all socket A mobo's, noticibely lighter, has very good performance with low speed fan. price is very close

As far as PSU clearance goes, I have just purchased a Chieftec Dragon Mid-Tower.

Dimensions:
Depth: 473 mm
Width: 205 mm
Height: 522 mm

Do you think this would be adequate for the Zalman CNPS7000A-ALCU?

Thanks!

I just purchased the Zalman CNPS7000A-ALCU for my Chieftec Dragon. I hope it clears the PSU. Anyone have the same setup as me? Thanks!
