Coincidence that May 11th is my birthday and my nVidia 680i/Core 2 Quad Q6600 is looking mighty old? Probably, but WHO CARES? Awesome!

The biggest question I've been waiting on in all this is what the price premium will be....having quicksync would be great... but how much are we willing to pay for it I think is the real question... $50..sure, more than $50...not worth it for me

How bout the rest of you?

fuck it. im returning my entire H67 build. i screwed up here. gonna go for a 10 SATA Z68 board. LOL. why have a fileserver with only 6 HDs... might as well go for 8!! + 1 boot drive. that way with 25% for redundancy, I still get a solid 12TB 😀

Well, there are more reasons for going to the Z series boards, especially for those who want to lower their power consumption. It won't be much longer before both Nvidia and AMD have solutions for switching between using a low power discrete graphics device and a high performance GPU. For HTPC applications, this is a real benefit.
