I'm using a Sb live. When I select a 4 speaker setup, nothing comes out from the rear?? I only can use the 2 speaker setup.

N'mind the 2 speaker setup, I tried playing a mp3 and when I played it, the sound at the rear is not in stereo?? Not in stereo as in whenever I try to output with the left only channel, the rear left and right would sound but the only the front left would sound. What gives?? Am I doing it wrong or is this the way it should be?? I did a speaker test and it seems that the sound comes out from every speaker once it reaches the rear left and right. I can't select a 4 speaker setup. Can only do 2. :(

The rear is strong. Just that both the rear onyl and left only channel will come out in both the left and rear channel when only one side should sound. And I cannot use 4 speaker setup...only 2. :(

i would suggest double and tripe checking you connections as well as switchin the speakers and the wires around. if you have even a cheapy deapy sound card lying around try that. if some one can confirm this, maybe you can uninstall and reinstall you sb.....even update the driver....after all, it could be the speakers.

I've had the same problem with the rear left not sounding as loud as the other speakers. What I do is turn up the volume knob a bit higher on the SoundTouch and turn down the volume in Windows to equal it out.

Also with the rear speakers not working on the SBLive, run the AudioHQ utility and select Speaker. Configure it for a 4-speaker setup. Hit the Test button and you should hear your speakers pop and the rear channels should hopefully work from there.

I will solve your problem.

First off read the manual.

You guys have the speakers our of phase.

That means that one red wire on the speaker is going to the black on the sub and vice versa. Make sure the colors correspond to the wires.

As for both rear speakers being soft. Turn the fade knob up on the control tower. Happy listening. Read my above post about how much I like them.

Got it to work. I was using the Sblive 5.1 drivers earlier on. :D

What's the M3d for anyway?? Got to admit that these speakers are earth shattering!

M3D is logitechs 3d sound algorithim for if you only have a stereo source. Only use it while listening to music or if you have a 2 channel sound card.
