Hey Everyone,

I've decided that it's time to upgrade to an i7-6700K from my old i5.

I use my system for a lot of stuff, but gaming is what I care most about improving.

I need a motherboard to go with this. I'll be purchasing the CPU from Microcenter so it makes sense to get the mobo there too.

Any recommendation around the motherboard would be appreciated.

What I care about:
1) Stability
2) 6 SATA ports (8 would be great)
3) Lots of USB Ports
4) At least 1 Gig-e connector (faster the better)
5) 5.1 sound, but i generally use headphones
6) ATX form factor
7) 16GB memory support (I think they all go to 32 now)
8) very slim chance of overclocking...though i might finally do it.

Mostly play ARMA III and CS:GO as well as BF1 and other FPS.

thanks for the help

A Asrock Z170 Extreme 6+ has plenty and more and besides it's a excellent overclocking friendly motherboard.

I love my H170 board and the Z170 version is pretty much the same feature set. Good price for pretty much all you need. ASUS Z170 PRO GAMING.
