Z-680's vs a Stereo System..

Well...my family has finally decided that a better sound system is needed. For Lotr movies, and other action flicks.

I'm just wondering, what are the best speakers for the 200 dollar price range?...Should I invest a little more money?

And...do those specifically designed surround stereo systems (dont know many) for tv's, really be best?

So...The Logitech Z-680's or a Stereo System for tv's?


btw...if you know of any good deals on sound systems that have come up (please share). This will be bought within the week.

For two hundred bucks you might be stuck with the logitechs a decent surround sound reciever Pioneer/Sony will run you aroun 200 dollars, and then count about 30 bucks a speakers minimum for good bookshelf speakers... that would sound a lot better and be more flexable.

We have a set of 680's on our HDTV/DVD system, and it sounds great
