Are you aware that the rear satellites on the 5450 set need to be plugged into wall outlets?

No problem. For the price of it, I think it makes a lot more sense to go with something of higher quality like z-5500s / Klipsch Promedia / entry level HTIB and then get some longer speaker wire to run along the edge of the room to the back speakers.

I haven't heard the Logitech wireless set, but the quality of the components looks a lot like the z-5300 set this deal is about and the extra $$ is going to the amps for the back speakers and some more inputs on the control pod.

i have a set of 5300's and i haven't got a complaint in the world - okay, yes i do... the speakers are permanently wired. but other than that, i love them. i'm a college kid on a budget, and they suit my needs quite nicely. get 'em!

I read a lot of complaints that the sub for this system is too loud/muddy sounding. Until i can find a good solution for this problem (which is also the case for my z-640s), I'm holding off on the 5300e set.

just bought these and the sound is excellent
as far as the sub goes, use your volume settings or bypass settings (i have sb audigy zs) and you can control it much better
