What are differences between the two (pros/cons), and which one would you say is better? Also is there a 3rd choice that's good to consider?

I've used both and prefer Y'z dock because you can drag and drop icons and they work. With ObjectDock when I dragged an icon on to the dock some programs would not open. Y'z even looks better for some reason.

Y'zdock because, if i remember correctly, you cant change how much you zoom in when the mouse cursor is over the icons w/ objectdock.

confirmed. I think the main thing, no matter which you use, is finding good icons. Without the icons, both will look like sh!t anyway.

I prefer Y'z Dock.. it accepts both *.ico and *.png so any icon will work with it. Very customizable and has docklet support. :)

Too bad Apple is a bunch of sh!theads..

even if apple shut them down, it's still around the internet. it will never die. most likely the developers will start something under a new name, with an even better product. :)
