Yum, never realized cucumber slices are so tasty

So I've been sick as a dog the past week and the thought of any greasy or fried food makes me cringe. Even though my appetite has been greatly diminished I've really developed a taste for slice cucumbers, they're really light and crunchy with a nice taste. I did't think I would like them so much. When I find enough energy to crawl back to the grocery store I plan on adding raw sliced bell peppers to my diet.

Anyone have a few suggestion on healthy foods?

i had pneumonia a few weeks ago. took about 14 days before i felt 90% again.

Wow, did'nt realize it would take that long. I found out I had pneumonia just this Monday, so I guess I have another week before I can breathe again.

Are they really healthy? I mean, I don't think they are particularly unhealthy, I just don't think they have much of anything in them at all. Sort of like celery.

yeah cucumbers ain't got much except water and some fiber.

slice some cucumbers real thin, then add some salt, some good rice wine vinegar, chopped jalapeno, and some fresh mint. let them sit for a while and boom! Spicy sour fresh pickles!

I think bell pepper have a little more nutrients right? For some reason raw veggies seem the way to go for me, not sure why though. This is a wierd craving

Peppers are good. They are somewhat sugary, but have alot of nutrients. I'm just checking out nutritiondata.com anyway, you could do this too if you're curious about certain foods.

promise it wont last, but while it does...
mix it in with regular diet because then you get used to it
so find good food combinations

Sierra Sandwich
Grilled Chicken Cutlet
Bell Peppers(Mixed variety) chopped into thumb sized pieces
Pepperjack Cheese
=grill the peppers w/ some salt/pepper and if you like bbq, use Jack Daniels BBQ #7 and then once they are borderline crispy/start to get cooked, throw on the pepperjack for a min to melt and then throw on a hero w/ the chicken cutlet
this way u get taste and health, a never fail combo my friend

I got hooked on cucumber sandwiches back when I was little and my English Grandmother was still around. Thin sliced bread, thin slices of cucumber and mayo, i think. Crunch. Mmmmmmmm.

Kinda, except I don't think it's going to bring about the apocalypse.
