no i fully realize IPAs are an aquired taste, i doo feel they are good but in general a more full bodied lager or ale (think sam or newcastle) is much better then the light offerings of bud and yueng

I dunno, I thoroughly love the Lager and B&T.

They are my "I can drink them whenever", and tend to be my choice if I'm going out to a sports bar now. Great beer to drink multiple pints of while watching games, eating, and just bullshitting.
I'll take to my stouts and full-bodied ales and other such brews more malt-focused when I want to slow down a bit and enjoy delicious beer (and typically heavier alcohol content).

yuengling has a black and tan and a porter, not sure how they get distributed but i can get both in eastern nc pretty easily. the porter is ok, not bad for a cheap porter but nothing special. im not crazy about the black and tan but ill have it now and again.

I wish I could buy it where I lived. But since I can't, fuck them. I'll drink Sam Adams!

i like some of sam adams seasonals, but i hate the boston lager. i dont think its good at all *shrug*

now the black lager i think is decent, so is the irish red and a few others, but ive had 2 boston lagers sitting in my fridge from the last mixer pack i got and i wont touch them anytime soon.

Casinelli told msnbc.com. "What’s important to us is we’re growing in an industry that’s declining.”

Say what? More people in the U.S. are drinking beer than ever before. They're just not drinking mass produced crap.

yuengling is my favorite lager...
props since its a semi local brewer.

:hmm:

So if it doesnt matter what drug it is... alcohol/weed/whatever, it just makes the case that prohibition isnt wrong. The original implementation may have been bad and failed, the policy itself is still a worthy cause to be persued for all substances whch are (ab-)used.

you are morons, because you need a substance to get by. I need no such crutch and am therefore infintely better off than you.

:whiste:

Yuengling is pretty good. For something considered "cheap" its infinitely better than anything else in that price category.

Yea, I like it. It's beer, with a lower case "b". Nothing fancy, just a solid inexpensive beer, made by a privately held company. I generally choose private companies, or small business whenever I can.

Beer with a lower case b is the perfect description. Sometimes that all you want.

ok this thread is making me want to buy a case and give it another chance. a little college nostalgia maybe
