When I try to install the plugin it still dosent work. Anyone know what to do?

(the pages work, but without sound)

They work for me.

Let's start with something simple. Are your speakers plugged in? Is your sound muted?

at the top of the page there is a little bar that says I need to install a plugin. When I click install plugin it tries to install quicktime 6.51 on my computer supposedly, but it says "failed".

The thing is, I already have the latest version of quicktime installed on my computer. Apparently though, it seems like firefox and quicktime are not communicating.

It might be because you updated your Firefox at some point. The same thing happened to me.

Yes, I have updated it whenever a new release came out. Do you know what I can do to fix it?

Exactly my problem. Quicktime and firefox don't seem to "communicate".

All of those pages are simply a background image and a .wav file.

Check about:plugins and see what audio-related things come up.

FOUND A FIX!!!! i had the same problem.

go to control panel (switch to classic view is needed) hit the quicktime icon, browser plugins, and mime settings. check all the boxes and the sounds on ytmnd will work in FF

You don't need to check all the boxes. just the ones for wavs and mp3s.
