No, they are not the same.

ocsystem.com: 5600 RPM 36 CFM
SVCompucyle.com: 4500 RPM 29.6CFM

They are definitely not the same.
1.5 Resellerating.
Avoid all the OC type stores. I dunno why but they are all crvp. The first one was and every succeeding one thereafter.
No one reputable would use OC in their store name as it has already been dragged thru the mud.
They look for the unknowing, noobies, if you will. And it's always noobies posting these stinky deals.
You'll learn.

Are these fans really any better? 33 and 35dB seems pretty damn loud for only a 15% "claimed" performance increase per unit airflow.

So their 29.6 CFM fan will perform like a regular 34 CFM fan. You can certainly find a 34+ CFM fan that is quieter than this.

What exactly wrong is with the deal? I've ordered ddr ramsinks from them and received them within a week. Well I guess its a luck of the draw. Well whatever, I was just passing on a deal but if you wanna slap it down fine with me.

Mrhans: The TMD fans right now only come in 70mm. They wouldn't fit on anything else except for the ones made for the heatsink. On Y.S. Techs FAQ they said 60mm and 80mm TMD fans should be out soon.

http://www.dansdata.com/tmdfan.htm has quite a bit of info on these neat fans. Thanks fileid, but I do understand that the ones discussed in this thread are 70mm. The size diff wouldnt shy me away from fabbing something from sheetmetal to use one though... :)
Perhaps it's just as well to wait for the more common sizes...

this is the first place I've seen that actually has the 5600rpm one, even searched just for the fan and can't find anyone in the states that carries it.. (didn't do a huge search, might be worth trying mouser and such) the 5600 seems as if it would be a decent fan though... hell I'd buy it just to hear that startup whine :) dansdata mp3 of it is wild

Nothing, really. It's just that all these OC stores are so suspect. They always get trashed in any reselleratings

The whole point, actually. Judging from their reviews, just what fan do you think you're going to end up with?
If you do buy one, I hope you get what you ordered. But well, if you don't get it, well at least you'll know what's up.

Seems like newegg has these in stock also for $26.00 + $6.00 shipping for those of you who are concerned about a reputable company. Although it is the slower 4500 version of the fan.
.Newegg

If anyone has one of these please let me know how it sounds. My delta 60mm 7000rpm fan with thermalright sk6 is loud.

Hear it here

MY fan...silent and cheaper by comparison

my setup

Newegg, $7-8 and an adapter on the OEM sink makes zero noise and cools as well as the whiny OEM fan. PLUS, its adjustable :)
