This is how I play FEAR on my 5900XT. Settings are 800x600 everything minimum and pixel doubling/forced dx8 on. I can play with slightly better settings but I'm a whore for nice framerates.

Wow that's pretty horrible. That means it's rendering at 400x300 with the pixel doubling on. :Q

lol yeah it's effectively 4x3 stretched to fill an 8x6 resolution.

Man even the nearly 10 year old Build-engined Duke Nukem 3D at 640x480 looked better than that from what I remember.

How do you play? Just shoot at any blob that moves? :p

lol yeh pretty much. I can run circles around bitches with my shotty when theyre dragging along at 20-30fps and I'm at 60. Setting lighting to minimum lights up the entire map too, at least in single player, I'm not sure about multiplayer. If it works out the same setting the lighting to minimum can give you a big edge in DM.
