Seagull strikes blow for green issues
The World Wide Fund for Nature is turning to the power of computer games to spread the word about the dangers of overfishing.
The game could ruffle feathers as it gives players control of a hungry seagull who they must use to shoot bird poo at politicians that the organisation claims are more interested in profit than sustainability.
Players will also be encouraged to sign the petition bundled in with the game to let their feelings about overfishing be known.
The game will be available on the WWF website and will also be promoted by a viral marketing campaign that the creators hope will spread it far and wide.
