I used to use youtube intermittently in the past. I'm back from a hiatus, and feeling like someone may if they skipped ahead in time, or was just released from captivity.

When did youtube's content for videos clips of tv show scenes go from 100's or 1000's of slightly different versions of cut, cropped, dubbed, ripped, or portion of a digital version... To 10's or 100's of clips of capture devices pointed at a TV, a still frame with full audio track, or even a capture device pointed at one of the other youtube 'capture device pointed at a TV' videos. 99% are all crappy ones + chop'n'loaded; no vibration correction, some videos of curved crts with anisotropic effects so bad the quality is horrible, and poor .
They're not original content, only debased second sourcing of the original content: seems like if it were a user policy change it wouldn't go any further to back copyright laws, and it's bad from a commercial sense; would kill the user base and visitation rates killing ad-based revenue and general net worth of the site

My personal favourite is when it's a still with audio, and the audio has been removed for copyright reasons.
