Youtube performance ???

How is http://www.youtube.com/ currently performing for you? for the past couple days it's been super laggy for me. just navigating channels and searching is less than smooth. sometimes videos just stop, and remain stopped after refreshing the page (also can't rewind what i was just watching when this happens). i expect some occasional delay in finding and streaming the 1's and 0's to me, but this is some noticeably sub-optimal performance for me.

comcast internet, historically bad at youtube but this is different
using chrome, will try firefox
i had followed this a few months ago, still in place

I have these problems ever since youtube and other sharing sites appeared. It's flash in the first place, which is crap, the second are their overloaded servers, I think it is just way too popular to technically handle.

Have 40Mbps line btw...

yeah, it was terrible flash performance on firefox that drove me to chrome

Firefox flash performance seems fine here and recently (past month or so) I've had no issues with Youtube. Previously I was but doing OK now.

Chrome is ok but I don't care for it for my main browser.
