I agree that is is weird how much funtwo gets fame for things that JerryC has actually done. But there are others who have done the same covers and they are not as good as funtwo has done, so he does offer something special.

Arranging/composing and playing are two different skills. If you watch JerryC play Canon Rock, you'll notice that he makes some errors here and there. Funtwo's got better technique and plays a better song in general. Just because he always plays covers doesnt' mean that he isn't a good guitarist. Whether or not he gets more credit than he should is another topic.

Are you cereal? Funtwo's Canon Rock cover has been analyzed to death where he messes up several scale climbs and tapping vs JerryC's Funtwo also feels bit too mechanical when he plays. How does JerryC mess up his own composition?
