YouTube Better Quality Videos

Might have been posted already/you "l33t" people might know about it but if you add "&fmt=18" to the end of youtube videos you get better quality video and audio.

Yes, just add "&fmt=18" to the end of the URL.

For example:

Lower quality: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gv_F0zS-e20

Higher quality: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gv_F0zS-e20&fmt=18

You can see the difference in music videos and other things a lot better.

Yeah probably something like that.

I can definitely tell the difference with the videos above though. And the FEAR in the dark video I was watching I could tell the difference. It really is noticeable on the text added to the videos for me.

It definitely does affect some videos.

click the "Watch this video in lower quality for faster playback." and listen to the difference in audio. The guitar is definitely noticable.
