Just an update: my game was marked as shipped just a day after I ordered it. I should be seeing it by the end of the week. I called up freecreditreport.com and stamps.com today to cancel those memberships and even though it was annoying to hear their crap about why I shouldn't leave I think I'm in the clear. Don't know if I have the time or want to put in the effort to do another one very soon, but I would come back and do it again depending on the offers available at the time.

you are suppose to wait 21days for stamps.com hopefully nothing get screwed up.
as long as you got your confirmation numbers that you were canceled you are fine.

I did wait 21 days and yes I got my conf #

oh. i just saw that you ordered and did you offers like 3 days ago. my bad.

I tried it out. Waiting on two GH III bundles which "shipped" on March 5th and March 10th. Nothing yet. I sent an email today so we'll see.

Worst case, I got 7 disney books, care bear toys, $5.00 in stamps and some blockbuster rentals for about $25. Worked out real well for my 3 1/2 year old daughter.

Update:

The site is http://games.megafreebie.com/

So far I completed the following offers and they were credited to my account within 12 hours:

FreeDollarStore - 1 credit - $1.97
SmartDiets $1 Trial - 1/2 Credit - $1.00
Box.net - 1/2 Credit - $1.00

The cost was $4.97.
I ordered Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2 for Xbox 360. Will let you know when I receive it. Right now it says I'm waiting to be approved.

I also completed

RealityTrac - 1/2 Credit
GrantSecretsRevealed - 1 Credit - $4.97
eFax.com - 1/2 Credit

Cost: $4.97

but they haven't posted yet. I'll be doing an MCR on RealityTrac and GrantSecretsRevealed and will let you know how their support is.

Slickdeals turned me onto the website because of how positive everyone in the thread says their experience has been.

I'll update again with how cancellations went and if I get any foreign charges to my CC.

If everything goes well, I'll post a little how to guide on it.

Well, I got home from work and had a nice surprise on my porch. Funny thing was included in my box from Amazon. In addition to the Guitar hero III bundle, I had two books (looked used) on Christian faith. Now, just need the second one. Not sure if I'm going to keep it for the extra guitar or return it to Amazon for credit.

I've never played a guitar hero game or anything like it so that's why I tried this out. Didn't want to spend $100 on an unknown. Anyways, popped it in and played for a while and enjoyed it a lot. I can see how everyone is addicted to these games. Guess I'll be working on Rockband or maybe Guitar Hero II next. With my setup though I need to wait for the wireless peripherals for Rock Band.

Thanks,
Tim

congrats. if you have someone to play with you its worth keeping the second guitar. you can sell the game on ebay for like $30 if you care.

As an aside - Rock Band > *

And I don't believe there's going to be any wireless peripherals for Rock Band outside of the guitar. I'm pretty certain that the Drums and Mic will always be wired. The guitar on RB is much nicer than the one for GH2/3 on the 360. I love the silent strummer and the flat fret buttons.

You're right. I saw the wireless guitar coming out so for some reason had it in my mind that drums would be available also. I have all my components mounted on the ceiling so I'd hate to have wires hanging down although I guess I'd only plug them in when I was playing.

Well, maybe I'll try out Rockband with the GH guitar. And add the other stuff as needed.

Actually any USB mic will work on rockband. Including just the standard headset you get in the premium system that plugs into the wireless controller.

Wow, gotta decide if this is worth it. Only reason I would do one of these is to get a 360 or PS3 and sell it for $. However if I could get a Macbook Pro, then that might be a different story ;)

True, but then it's not wireless, then is it. Though I'm sure they probably make wireless USB microphones.

Again, true, but the quality of the 360 headset is really bad compared to a dedicated microphone. All the times I've tried it, it sounds pretty bad.

I don't know how many offers. This is the one I'll be doing but I haven't signed up yet.

It takes about 5 months from completion to delivery on something from this site. Be prepared to wait.

EDIT: Here's a guy that did the site, he said 15 offers in December.

I'm doing MegaFreebie and now I'll probably actually do my YF360G account. I'm also doing the PSP site too ...

Hmm, only problem with MF is two offers I completed didn't send me verification emails, and they only credited me for one offer. Kinda pisses me off, but meh - doing what I can to get it, will have to cancel in two weeks probably.

I don't know if this has been posted elsewhere yet or not. This comapny is NetBlue. They deliver, but it takes them quite a while.

This is for a Wii and a $50 gift card for Gamestop. Reports are that you will get a $299 check for the Wii and a $50 check for the gift card. Doing this will not get you a Wii, but will get you the money to go out and get one on your own.

The cool thing about this, it's only two offers. I have no idea what the offers are, but I know that it's only two.
