I've been wanting to try these, well started to actually but the one I was trying was one you had to get referrals as well. That's harder than simply doing trials.

Anything like this for PS3 games? Or something that doesn't require too much expense from your credit card and get something of a couple hundred dollar value?

and, are there ones for tv's that don't require referrals? I haven't done one of these in forever, so I'd be down for doing a few trials if it costs $100 in the end for something nice.

referralswapper.com - You can even just trade referrals with someone else in most cases.

I may try this, and if you use a credit card you are safe because you can always dispute any unauthorized charges. Thanks OP. I wouldn't have trusted these things, but it seems like a lot of long time members here have said they are good so I trust that.

Just an update because i can... :)

Well I completed 2 offers and get to pick my game. Not really sure what I want... right now it's between Skate, Burnout: Paradise, or R6:V2 when it comes out.

yeah more specifics would be nice

i did word for word the instructions in the OP, neither was "instant credit" or whatever.

I am honestly starting to think that these places "pay out" to like 1 in 100 people just so they can spread the word/scam.

the stamps.com either credits instantly or you have to file a MCR. depends. and from what it seems the yahoo was taken down and is no longer a instant credit. but takes like 7 days.

so i dont know what offers you did. but from when i wrote this and as of today some of the offers change. like i said in my post follow the slickdeals or cag threads they are a lot more answers.

i dont see how this is a scam.. ive gotten 2 gh3 bundles now and my friend has gotten one plus the ton of people on slickdeals, cag, and anything for free. it takes time. i had to wait 28 days for one offer to credit because i had to file a MCR.

I tried this but most of the offers do not work in Canada. The only offers I could do cost me >$10 each.

If you followed the requirements exactly for each offer, then you need to request manual credit. Most of these companies will make you wait 30 days before they do manual credit (i-deal, who i did my second macbook pro and 42" lcd tv, which I'm thoroughly enjoying as I type, does not do manual credit) and they will require you to fax or mail in your email confirmations and credit card statements. As long as you do exactly what you're supposed to do, these pay out far more often than not. The only one I got screwed on was my 2nd MacBook Pro, and I'm about to try for another one through a different company.

ANYONE INTERESTED PLEASE READ THIS:
This is not for the fient of heart. You can't casually do this and expect it to work. You need to be organized. You need to read the terms and conditions for the website that you sign up for and the terms and conditions of each offer you choose. Make sure you don't have a pop-up blocker enabled. Use Internet Explorer, you can't take a chance on a offer page requiring some weird ActiveX control that Firefox/Safari can not understand. Make sure each page finishes loading before you close it or move on. Print your offer completion page after every offer you do. Use CutePDF to save it to a PDF for free. Use a spreadsheet to keep track of what you've done, how much it cost, when you have to cancel it, what number you have to call, who you talked to when you called in and other information.

Honestly, I don't think it's worth it for small things like games. I did the GH2 bundle when it came out and the 360 HD-DVD drive when it was still $200. I wouldn't do it for $60 games.

The Wii offers were a pain in the ass. They were through TRAINN, the same company that does the *****. I likely won't do offers through their system again unless it's something really nice.

I'm currently doing Megafreebies and will let you know how that goes. People seem to be having a great experience with them. I completed enough offers to get 2 free games, but I'm still waiting on credits for them.

If I'm successful and get the two games, I'll post what I did here. The people at SlickDeals seem to be having great success with it.

Just an update: my game was marked as shipped just a day after I ordered it. I should be seeing it by the end of the week. I called up freecreditreport.com and stamps.com today to cancel those memberships and even though it was annoying to hear their crap about why I shouldn't leave I think I'm in the clear. Don't know if I have the time or want to put in the effort to do another one very soon, but I would come back and do it again depending on the offers available at the time.
