Your only option is suicide. If you don't, they'll get vital information out of you, one way or another. It's only a matter of time. Without comfortable, painless options like a shotgun to the head, how do you go about doing the deed?
 
This reminds me of that one part in Team America World Police. It went something like this: "You are going to be in a very dangerous situation. There is a chance you may get captured. Should you be captured, you will likely be tortured terribly. You may choose that you would rather end your life. If you must, use this" ::Then he hands him a hammer::
 
I'll have them torture me and give them bogus information like "cottage cheese" and "42", I'll get a load of great laughs as I die and those fvckers will be confused as hell. I have moral issues with suicide.
 
Usually individuals who are in posession of such highly sought after information have the proper training to deal with a situtation like this and most likely never find themselves in such a situation as described.
 
What exactly am I going to tell them? It's not like I know a whole lot of classified information.

Assuming Jack Bauer is handcuffed to a chair, he would jump through his handcuffed hands, take the chair, break it over all the terrorists heads, and do this without saying a word.

I would fight to the point they had to kill me/beat me. If they straped me into the chair, I would bite my tongue off.

Suicide = wimps way 😛
 
Most people here would say they'd take the pain, endure the torture, but that's bullsh1t. The kind of things people are capable of would make you sick just by watching them. That being said, if I knew I had no chance of escaping or being rescued, I'd probably just end myself.

Pain torture doesn't really work.

After a point the brain shuts down and any information gleened is useless.

Wrong.

In reality, those with highly classified information are given cyanide pills. I'm serious, THAT is the contingency plan.
 
Try to hold out for a while then appear to break and lie like crazy (with just enough truth to make it believable). Try to do as much damage as possible.

When that plays out get killed while attempting escape or at least take one of the bastards with me.
