typical store trip for me is like a pound of chicken or fish (whatever's freshest that's not tilapia, catfish, or bass), couple pieces of fruit, a container of soy milk, 6-pack of flavored water, a pound of deli meat + half-pound of cheese, and staples as needed (staples being things like eggs, spices, condiments, etc)

I don't go to the grocery store. I enjoy growing and slaughtering my own food. This is how things should be. We have grown to dependent on "stores" for our needs. Besides, you will need these skills for the coming apocalypse.

i usually get tomatos, squash, some bision or beef steaks, usually have some sausages or brats around. frozen vegetables, tortilla chips. 2% milk, tuna, gatorade or juice, a cooked chicken or similar for food after shopping.
