He was lucky. I was in love with a pretty half-cousing in the late seventies. Never told her. Never did anything wrong as we went dancing at the disco together so many weekends, even when we danced slows. Looks like my mom and aunt somehow sensed something though as some words (gossip?) appear to have been said later that made my cousin avoid me. To this day she still avoids me at funerals and family functions. That's sad because we were such good friends.
