Also my DVD burner. When I first bought it, it was $185. Now you can get the same drive for like $90.

800 dollars for renting a room in a house for 3 days when I was an intern. The guy who lived in it and owned it was an obsessive compulsive, and he couldn't be trusted, keyed into my room to turn off my box and then lied about it, then gave me some sh!t about not turning off a light in the hall. I was renting for 400 a month, I managed to get out in 3 days, but I couldn't get the money (deposit and first months rent) from him cuz NY state law says tenants have to give 60 day notice and full payement of rent. I could have hired a laywer and tried to take him to court over it, but that would have been too much effort for me at where i was in my life. I managed to get into college housing at 125 a week for the summer, it was much better.

The live lesson is, ask for references if you plan to live in a house with someone else you don't know.

One time I inserted a quarter into the pop machine and pressed the button waiting for my Pepsi to come out. But nothing came out, it turned out that the machine was out of Pepsi and the "sold out" light was dead 🙁

I bought a new (still shrinkwrapped) V-card from best buy. Got home and put it in the machine. it fired up as a diffrent card! i took it back to Bestbuy and complained. but of course they did NOTHING. so i was out $300

I even called corprate office and everything. short of a lawsuit i was SOL.

I bought a P4 cpu a long time ago (when they first came out) from googlegear. This was when the cpu came with two rdram rimms. I ordered the 1.4 with two 128mb rimms. They shipped me a 1.4 with two 64mb rimms. When I called to get it straightened out, they told me that "it is a cpu, not memory. You have to buy memory seperate." I called numerous times, spoke to managers, they all said the same thing. :|:|:|:| I told them to look at their freaking web page or go look at one of the boxes and see that it COMES WITH RAM!!! Still told me that cpu's and ram are seperate. One of the managers even wanted me to ship back the memory becuase he said that it shouldn't have come with it.

I am still pissed off at them today and will never buy anything form them and tell other people to do the same.

btw, zipzoomfly....nice name you douchebags
