I was out raking my yard when the next door neighbor lady (in her 60's or so) stops me to talk. She starts telling me how much she hates her husband and she does all the work around the house. She said "I hope he dissapears someday and never comes back", "I have a drinking problem , ya, maybe this time they'll put me away for good, I like to drink alot in the morning!" "I hated that son of a b*tch, I wish he'd just go away, I need a drink!"

This lady cuts her grass like 3 times a week, she starts doing yard work at 7 am no matter what day. She is nuts!

One morning at 2am someone starts ringing our doorbell. After a minute of scrambling to put some clothes on we go to answer the door and do some serious yelling. We open the door to see cops swarming all over our street, our yard taped off with crime scene tape, and the forensics van open for business.

The lieutenant at our door tells us that our next door neighbor?s stupid 19 year old son just shot his gf through the neck as she drove a way from dumping him. Then they had a few hours standoff with him in his backyard with gun. We didn't have anything to worry about because the cops were in our backyard ready to SWAT his butt. It was all over by then; they didn't want to wake us during the standoff and spook this guy. After that, we were actually grateful that he told us what was going on.

The son pleaded guilty and went away for a long time. The parents were wierdos too. His dad went on the news saying he was trying to just shoot out her tires. Luckily they moved a few months ago, so we don't have to worry about seeing JR again.

That's the spirit of this thread. Tell some more. ;)

Good stories so far from everyone.

A teenaged kid lives a few houses down from me. Saturday, he received a visit from the fire department, police, and bomb squad. Apparently, he and his buddies were in the house building bombs when one went off. Unfortunately, none of them were injured. Surprisingly, none of them were carted off. Obviously, I started nearly every sentence in this post with a single word followed by a comma.
