The current "issue" only has one entry, since the month is just beginning and I archive it every month, but it goes back over four years now, which I think is fairly long-lived in blog terms.

I just hand-code it in HTML so there aren't any fancy features or anything like that.

nobody reads my blog either, and I also don't really care. I mainly have it so I can collect thoughts on things i see, read, learn and watch throughout the day. Once I have enough cohesive postings, I'll find the ones that are related and string them together into a longer article for my site, which nobody will read either. it's mostly a place where I can bitch about stuff...

do you mean my webdesign or blog? blog is through blogger. the design I threw together myself. I've been meaning to make a nice design (i know it's an eyesore right now) but I just don't have the time. whatever time I have goes into making the content, nothing left for the design 🙁

and i certainly don't have the money to pay someone to do it for me. 🙂

..

edit: my backend is custom written php to make it do what I need it to do, centered around a mysql db. All of it runs off a ds3 at a local ISP that a friend of mine colos at for free ... and they don't do very much bandwidth management, so I've enjoyed several 12-15mbps spikes.

Bookmarked for later.

I am actually quite experience coding in HTML and XML, but its just not worth it for me to spend my time designing and servicing my own site when there is a service like Squarespace that can do it faster, cheaper and better. Its free, takes 5 seconds to sign up (just need to input an e-mail). Try it its incredible.

I use multiply, best blog site I've ever found. I only found livejournal after finding multiply, and man... it's like going from a car to a bicycle.

Well I am starting a website. I guess it is kind of a blog amoung other things.

And I really do not like using other people's software so I am working on and develop all the stuff I use for web pages unless it is something that will take months to learn and build.

meh i just can't justify paying someone to make a personal webpage. kinda takes the "personal' out of it. but on the plus side, your comment did give me the inspiration to finally MAKE TIME to update my site. It's still simple, and black and white, but that is why it's a personal page, cuz it's reflective of my personality. heh check the new design IF YOU DARE!!

HERE

ps. anybody know how to grap the three most recent headlines from your blog and throw them on another page? I can't figure it out!
