I would get a quality server rack with A/C, buy rackmount cases, build a bunch of top end servers, get a SCSI raid for each server, get some cisco networking equipment, and build an incredible workstation as main computer. Server would be for backup, intranet server, maybe 3 of them for firewalls, and some more backup.

Wait, you said 25k right? this would probably range at around 100 thousand lol.

I am with Eug. I would get a Top end Mac G5 with everything he posted and then some and with the leftover from the $25k would build a top P4 system and an Top Athlon system both with the best LCD Displays and one with a Top of the line Video Editing card for my video work. I would surround it with a very nice stereo system to play it all through and that would take all of the $25k. I have always wanted a Top of the line Mac and now with the G5 really want one. I love the PC but there is something about a high end Mac! I would never be PC Less but it would be nice to have them both but I can only dream.

There is nothing at all wrong with dreaming. Who knows, Someday I might come into some $$$. One never knows.

PS, I don't think except with the Mac you could spend $25k on ONE PC for Home use that runs Windows. With a Mac I have the feeling you could hit $25k if you tried. :D

Hrm...probably some kind of P4 rig since I do video encoding and then I'd donate the rest to my school or charity of some sort
