Well we had been best friends for about 6 months and started going out... then she brokeup with me for a couple reason which were honestly bs IMHO. (we dated for a whole freakin months, whoopie) A week later i got a call from my best friend saying that he and my ex girlfriend are gonna start dating, and he wanted to ask if it was ok with me. Naturally, OF COURSE ITS NOT OK!

Anyways, i gave them both the choice of being friends with me.. or they can go out with eachother and not see me until they get their crap straight.... well they chose to go out with eachother.

Am i just really sensitive or is this just total BS? I'm still crushed =\

don't worry...she will do the same thing to him, and then he'll be your friend again. I've been there :(

Your story is more common than you think...I think EVERYONE has lost a friend to a girl. And a surprising number of people I know have had a friend date their ex.

I didn't marry the woman I should have because my best friend went out with her first. Her and I stayed very good friends after they split and both of us ended up being totally in love with each other....but I could not do that to my friend so it never went anywhere.

Sorry to hear that man. I am not sure that kind of friend is worth to keep though.

Let them go at it.

But do not continue to be friends with either of them. Obviously something between them was done behind your back. You do not want to surround yourself with such people.

Translation: you and your ex were fine as friends, but once you started going out, she realized you weren't quite doing it for her, and your friend was. So... you lose.

Kick them both to the curb. It's not going to be worth the emotional hassle otherwise.
