So I am reading the review on Anandtech and come to page 4:
http://www.anandtech.com/show/6964/gigabyte-z77hd4-review/4
I look back and see the numbers on the board in my sig here:
http://www.anandtech.com/show/4493/gigabyte-z68xud3hb3-review/5
I have read the descriptions in the articles, but am still a little puzzled how this works. Is this a factor of memory on the chip itself for buffering, or different prioritization on the motherboard, or what?
And in any case, why would boards from the same manufacturer go from decent to crap? Is this solely to do with the choice of a cheap audio chip on this particular Z77 board?
