Your Studying Techniques?

For me it's just all about doing practice problems. I guess that's because I'm a computer science major and my courses are all either math or computer related (programming and hardware stuff).
 
not in college, but when i was doing high school stuff - not that i needed to study, but doing papers or whatever - id listen to classical music, or something instrumental anyway, but definitely no lyrics

oh, and i did it all last minute, write names and dates and specifics in class, re-read them a couple times the day or two before a test

and when i get to college, ill likely do the same....maybe itll work there, too
 
Avoid class, avoid homework, avoid the book.

Though that does not seem to be working well for me. 🙁 You may have better luck! 😛
 
I really have none, but basically I will study one till I am bored of it, move onto another subject, study till bored, take a break then go back to the original subject.
 
Midterms? lucky I have to write finals, my first one is at 1:00 december 9th yikes! I just lay in my bed and block out everything while reading over notes, working on a few problems, and trying to make sure I know what I am doing.
 
ye, i guess i explained my situation wrong. These are the Mock(like practice but sitll important because if u do crap u get put on lower tier so u can only get a C) GCSE tests, cause in the UK at the end of the 2 years you get large exams on each subject. So i have english lit, english lan, math w/calulator, math w/o calculator, biology, physics, chemistry, electronics, music, religous studies, and a french paper.
So i have definetly not remembered things from 2 years ago. So i am unsure whether i should intertwine subjects when studying, like do a half hour physics, break, half our english, break, half our math, break, half hour RE, break etc etc

what are some good artists? i'd prefer more modern music, as i don't like baroque music (too played out, it's annoying)
