Ok, the point of this is for everyone to defend why their state is useful to the union. You are free to do states that someone else has already mentioned, just try to say something new about it (Let's be real, people probably won't read it anyways, so say whatever you want). Comedic, serious, sarcastic, argumentative, whatever. Challenges to a state's honor are allowed, nay required, if you so feel. I'll start:


California: We're carrying this country on it's back economically
 
CA , land of fruit and nuts


Missouri, i have only lived here 4 years, but i like the "show me" motto
 
Illinois - Chicago. There's nothing useful, even in the surrounding states, for hundreds of miles. Yes, I said it, It's painful but true. Don't deny it! 😀
 
N.Dakota : Home of the brave, and not much else.

- O yea. We also have crops, nukes, and Rugby(ND) is the geographic center of N. America! GO US!
 
NJ is the most ethnically diverse state in the Union.

NJ has the highest income per capita in the US.

NJ has the most pharmaceutical companies in the US.
