Can you confirm?

Highest murder rate of seniors 65+? WTF is that about?

I love CT in general, but it is not only a bad state to retire in, it's the worst state to die in if you have ANY kind of wealth.

Lawyers/judges are stealing estate LEFT AND RIGHT. It's pretty horrible.....like sharks.

AZ - highest in foreclosures. In 2008-2010 there were shitloads of distressed houses around where I live. Close to 1/3 of the houses around me were either for sale, abandoned, repo, etc.

There are houses in my neighborhood that have been foreclosed on three times since 2008. The one leeson to come out of the mess is that "No one ever learns a damn thing."

Indiana is true. There is so little regard for nature its not even funny. A friend teaches at a school on the south side of indianapolis where there was raw sewage a few years ago in the school playground. That school is a major cancer cluster as well. Right next to a power station that was supposed to be closed down in the 90s but that was reversed when Bush came into power and reversed a ton of legislation pertaining to the power industry.

Vermont is the worst state at having Iraq war casualties? really.... that's what these guys came up with?

Well, as a Vermonter, I guess having the unemployment rate just hitting 4 percent they couldn't find a lot of things to complain about.

Yeah, with our "liberal" leaning, antibusiness, high taxation, over regulated, strong antipollution laws we have full employment.

Bite me Fox News.

Edit: I may be mistaken as to whether Vermont is a donor state.

Um, your state has gotten $288,478,750 in farm subsidies since 1995:

Since farming is a huge driver of employment in your state it seems that you are basically being proud of an entitlement bubble.

Actually Vermont is a donor state which means it gives more money to the Federal government than it gets back in aid.

So, if the failed states, like those in the deep south, were to give us back the money we have been giving them, things would be even better off in Vermont.
