"Every once in a while a band comes along that changes the course of human history, and that band is They Might Be Giants."
Tom Poston, the New York Times.

"Like so many things I can't understand, they left my teeth chattering for more."
Peggy Cass, Aquarian Weekly

"Maestro! I say right on!"
Orson Bean, Sky and Telescope

"If you hear only one song this year, there's something terribly wrong with you."
Kitty Carlyle, Easy Riders

Ladies and gentlemen, do not be alarmed. Please remain perfectly still. What you are about to see is real. The performers are not grinning scarecrows sent here to torture and manipulate you.
Ladies and gentlemen, it is my pleasure to introduce the twin quasars of rock. Please give a warm, friendly hand to They Might Be Giants!

You know, if I HAD to pick, it would be them.
Otherwise they can share the main stage with Pink Floyd and the Beatles, and I could go on for quite a while populating the second and third stages.

They are indeed a great band. They hit a little slump after Stranger than Fiction, but came back.

Far and away: Tool.

I really dig plenty of bands, but since first listening to Undertow in '93... I just cant get enough. At first I thought it was just Maynard's hypnotic voice that drew me in, but in listening to APC, I knew it was a mesh of every part of the band that drew me in.

Such a perfect mix of everything. Tool fan for life, and really looking forward to the next CD.

I guess you didn't hear.

Maynard found God. Yes, I am serious.

Tool is done. Gone. A Perfect Circle will have to satisfy your Maynard urges now.

Guess you didn't notice that the announcement was on 3/31/2005 - 4/1/2005.

I find it hilarious what people will fall for. Let me guess, you think Saddam is responsible for 9/11, right?

Another vote for Tool, since they still are making music. Otherwise, it'd be hard not to say Pink Floyd.
