There's no doubt having a girlfriend has its benefits. I'm single and am not worried about finding a girlfiriend. I'll leave that up to fate. I feel comfortable being independent and having to worry about anybody else than myself. I like the freedom and do whatever I want. Does it get lonely? Nah, I'm used to it. I quite like it actually. The last thing I need is a bitch following me around and nagging at me. Last thing I need is another mother.

My cousin is a real handful to handle. I don't know how the hell her BF can stand her. I'm with her for 3 weeks on holidays and can barely stand her, lol.

It seems that society sees it as a given or has a certain expectation/pressure (from families/relatives) that once you reach a certain age you should be at a certain step in your life. By 20s you should have acquired a career and a signficant other, by 30s married and with family, home, and car. By 40s should have an retirement nest egg.

Not everybody follows that same course of life. Like a bell curve, there'll always be people that'll deviate.
