Your own soda ideas?

I was wondering, if you could create your own soda, what would be the following:

• The name
• The flavor
• The color

Restrictions:

• No ridiculous flavors or any flavor that sounds gross.
• No alcohol, tobacco, marijuana, or any illegal drugs.

My idea of a soda would be known as Diet Mountain Dew Jazzy Pink. It would be a Strawberry and Passion fruit flavored diet soda, and obviously it would be colored pink.

Sure, Crystal Pepsi was such a smash hit it's puzzling why nobody copied it.

Ditto. When they did that run a few years back I thought the purpose was to pick a new diet flavor to add. Apparently not. A shame, some of them were really good.

My soda idea? The local grocery store has by 2 get 4 free 6 packs of pepsi products... my idea is to avoid the store. Because while I enjoy an occasional soda, I have this feeling that I would give into temptation and get the 36 bottles; and then consume them all in just a few weeks.

Now, if they had buy 2 get 4 cases free of water, particularly the couple of brands my wife and I prefer... I'd fill my truck bed. (I think there's still a receipt in there for 15 cases of water.)

I use costco mango juice in my soda stream. I add agave.

First, please don't type in pink. It is too difficult to read. I have issues with websites that use gray against a white background for the same reason. Unfortunately that is too common.

You don't have to buy some fancy machine to make soda, pop, tonic, soda pop or whatever one wants to call it. All you need is a good seltzer. Then mix it with some juice. Two or three parts seltzer to one part juice. I like to use grape or cranberry juice. I even occasionally use juice concentrate of blueberry or black cherry.

Seltzers are sold in flavors today, so mixing them is optional. The benefit, if you buy the right brand of seltzer to mix is, you have a low calorie drink that doesn't have artificial sweeteners and is much lower in sugar content. It also taste infinitely better than that crap sold by Pepsi and Coca-Cola. It is cheaper or at least no more expensive.

Unfortunately some national brands, feel a need to put crap ingredients in their seltzer. All that is needed is carbonated water and perhaps some natural flavoring.

Here's a ridiculous and gross flavor... franks and beans soda. I guess the color wouldn't be much worse than cola.

Ranch-a-licious. Ranch dressing flavor. Creamy white.

Combining the two above would be a refreshing treat.
