No offense intended, LilRice, but this issue is covered about every day... your post appears to me to be a troll. Use the search function and you should find out in intricate detail how everyone feels about nVidia, 3Dfx, GEForces, and Voodoos.
they make quality products. That work. I'm happy. i've had a card from every generation they've made though too (well except the rush). I've had maybe 3-4 nvidias and a couple ATIs a few matroxes. Matrox is good too. ok i'm digressing.

They make decent products. They recently got there head out of there asses and started to pull there act together.
Other than that they have an extremely loyal following who will do anything for them.

3dfx is a great company, they've had a few screw ups in the past year...but they seem to be getting back on track. nVidia is a great company to, the last 1.5-2 years they have seriously been pushing the enevelop and making great features and competition for gamers. ATi finally pulled their heads out of their collective asses and started producing some good drivers for their top notch hardware. And while the G450 was a bit of a dissapointment to gamers, it is an excellent card for the market it's intended for, and I expect the mythical G800 will be pretty sweet when it shows up to.
The moral of the story: We have a lot of great graphics card companies that produce lots of different products, weigh the strengths and weaknesses of each card and pick which best suits your needs, and give up this dumb Company A rocks, and Company B sucks nuts attitude.

3dfx have rock solid drivers and hardware. Plus their 2D image quality rocks and their 16 bit rendering is really cool.
In the past 3dfx have lagged behind the competition in terms of features and performance, but they seem to be getting over that now. I've decided to stick with 3dfx for my next video card upgrade (partially due to my failed nVidia upgrade).

Owned an Orchid Righteous Voodoo 1, a Diamond Monster 8 meg V2, and a pair of 3dfx 12 meg V2 for SLI. No regrets whatsover and drivers were solid all around. I wasn't too terribly impressed with their Banshee and Voodoo 3 models however and thought they should've stuck with the 3D only SLI format until they were ready to deliver something of Voodoo5 caliber.
