The oldest smartphone I have is a Treo 700wx. Still works. Still love it. It's a great little device. I also have a HTC Mogul, but I believe it's a bit newer than the Treo.

The oldest phone I have available is a StarTAC 7762 that I got in like '99.

There's been some times when I wish I could go back to it. Those were simpler times...

Palm Pixi, really a great phone just a little under powered. Got a Rezound though and couldn't believe the difference in screen size and speed.

Now with a DNA I wonder if I should make my rezound an alarm... didn't think it would get weather updates with no service for some reason. Just keep it on wifi?

does it still work? Do you still use it?

It works but I don't use it. I have 2 other better handsets (GS2, Nexus S) that are currently spares. The GS2 is being used by a good friend and my Nexus S is being used abroad. So yes if my Nexus 4 for some reason dies right now I'd switch to my Motorola Milestone/Droid.

Motorola Bionic - between 2 and 3 years old. Works perfectly well - main use is phone and Internet Hotspot (Verizon.)

Motorola Atrix

Couldn't get it working during the ATT deal but ended up putting in the stock battery I still had lying around and it worked. Unfortunately it was too late and now it's not worth enough to really get rid of it.

Also still have my SGS2 and S3

I still have a Samsung Transform in my possession. It is awful. Made only slightly less so because of a 2.3 CM that someone got working. Root is there, but non-functional, it is slow, ugly, and the ROM made the phone a bit smoother but screwed with the physical keyboard in the process.

I should make sure it's fully wiped so I can just recycle it.

So the battery was the main issue for that ATRIX phone?

I have a Samsung Galaxy Epic (S1) that still works. Think we have an old blackberry laying around that still works too. Mostly they just get obsolete.

I still have one of these:

I was going to give it to a women's shelter, but I recall something about the switch from analog to digital making them obsolete. For some reason I've never thrown it away.

Dumb as it may sound you can still get 911 service around the country on analog.

An HTC Evo 4G repurposed as an alarm clock. Before that I had a Palm Pre but couldn't get rid of that pile of shit quick enough...managed to get more money than I would have guessed for it too ($70).

I still have at least one or two dumbphones boxed away somewhere too.

I have a box of Nextel Blackberries I can't seem to get rid of either.

LOL.

I actually have one of these in my room, I was digging though my dad's stuff and found it. :awe::awe::awe:

Moto Bravo. Pre-Google acquisition device, it worked pretty well. I only use it now to have a wireless remote control for my Pioneer receiver when I'm downstairs. The current app from Pioneer will not run on my GS3.

HTC Sensation 4G. Got it 2 years ago and will be still using it for 2 more years, hopefully.

As far as phones in general, I still have a Siemens flip phone with fancy lights. That was a horrible phone to use. The screen was too small, earpiece was not loud enough, it would squeak. Pure junk.
