Next major vacation is most likely Japan next summer. There may be a minor small trip here or there depending on flight/hotel deals.

us too! we're going between 8 nov and 11 nov. with a few days in FTL before that.

Well, the next one planned for me is 7 days in Maui next May, but I'm sure I'll be taking short weekend trips between now and then up to Tahoe to ski or Las Vegas with friends. The past 5 months I've flown 16 times to various places, finally ending last weekend when I came back from Las Vegas and it's all been non-work travel. Needless to say, I don't want to travel again for awhile and am glad to be home.

3 day weekend - New Jersey to go out to dinner for our anniversary. Awesome restaurant about 5 hours 45 minutes from home.

Thanksgiving week for deer hunting

A week at Christmas, probably just stay home, make Christmas cookies, relax, etc.

I'm on summer break from mid November, I'll be driving to Tauranga from Christchurch, my driving route. 22 hours in the car, should be fun. 😀 Then at the end of the break I'll take a more direct route back to Christchurch.

I believe we'll split the majority of our time between Auckland and Kerikeri. I've been extremely lazy thinking up an itinerary since the girlfriend is from NZ and I figure she'll know someone anywhere we go. 😛

I'll PM you the details later when I get more nailed down. Be fun to meet up and have a drink or three!
