I desperately want to buy an under 3000 Mercedes diesel and convert it to run on vegetable oil.

I don't know why, just a desire I have. I've been putting off replacing the front brakes on my car (a 98 dodge neon without AC... god I hate summer) so I might die before I get the opportunity

I have a '65 Impala im getting ready to sell.

Hoping for an older Mitsubishi Lancer.

I think my dad is gonna get one of those convertible BMW's, the M or I 5.

I'd invest in the Impala instead of the Lancer, but that's just me.

Older? The oldest is 2002, and I wouldn't necessarily call that "older". Although there is a big difference between the 2002-2003 Lancers and later in looks, the newer ones will have a more powerful engine. If you think like me, that won't matter. It's not a sports car, after all. Personally, I prefer the look of my 2003 Lancer over a 2004, as did the last Mitsu dealer I talked with. I haven't had any problems with it and I think it drives great. It is actually faster than anything else in it's class for that year, it has lots of get up and go for a cheap compact sedan. With a decent budget you could push a lot of power out of it too.

G35 Coupe
->
Next Car:
S55 AMG

When I finish rebuilding my house and selling it that's what I'm going to buy.

That is if people actually buy houses... I see for sale signs that have been up for months now

:-\ We'll see.

What is "minimal" miles to you? You can barely get an E39 with low miles anymore.

Within the next 3-6 months, probably a Scion Tc, 3 hatch, toyota matrix, wrx wagon, or similar. I'd like some decent gas mileage, ability to at least mod to hid, and storage space. Only thing holding me back on the tc is the gear ratio, with its 4mpg less then a camry with 250lbs less weight.

M3

Cause an M3 can be had for NFS4's budget right?

😕

Topic is your next car purchase, not NFS4's next car purchase.

I guess I'm the only one reading the posts of NFS4 so far mugs 😱

Uh, mugs is right...

pwn3d

Cheers

LOL

Hmmmm. Both of our cars are getting up there in years and miles

99 Expedition 160ish k miles
99 Silverado 160ish k miles

Probably replace the Expedition with a 03, 04 Expedition, those have been around the 18-22 range here for what we want.

Probably replace the Silverado with a 04, 05 F-150

Mostly we just look for something 1-2 years old with decent miles <60k or so that is a great price. but we still hope to get at least another year or so out of the current vehicles, which will more than likely take them close to 200k miles.

Hope to have a good year at work and buy myself a weekend car next summer.

Currently drive a 01 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4X4

Next will be either a new Jeep Commander 4X4 or, if they actually come out with it, the new Dodge Challenger.

I'm gonna suck up all the gas you guys are saving.🙂

Current: 1999 Honda Accord V6

Future: Hopefully, BMW M3 (In 10 years? My Accord's solid as heck! But mainly cause I won't have enough money till then 😛), more realistically an Infiniti G35.

i was really pretty happy with my current car, '98 Olds Intrigue, untill i bought my wife her new minivan, Kia Sedona, that is a sweet ride.

i'll probably be getting a new Ford Mustang GT.

Eh i know... i am just hoping to get the one with the least miles 😉 <<-- this post is not being realistic.

Current: 99 Saturn SL2 which I'll probably drive until it dies. However if I was in need of a new ride, definitely a Mini Cooper S, which is a bit strange considering I'm 6'0" 240lbs.
